Beneath

Beneath is a horror story about a diver who descends into an underwater station and finds out what its inhabitants were doing. Tight corridors and water create constant pressure. Oxygen is limited, and a depth gauge tells you when it's time to return. There are almost no weapons, so you have to leave or hide from the creatures. Records and findings explain what happened at the station, and part of the truth is hidden in the deepest halls. The lantern goes down, and then only hearing remains. The station is bursting at the seams, and some of the compartments are flooded, so we have to find a workaround. The light of the lantern attracts creatures, and the silence helps them pass by. First aid kits and cylinders are rare, and there are always few of them. Notes from other employees explain what happened underneath. The ending depends on how far the hero decides to go down. Cylinders are replenished at the locks, so the route is built along them. The creatures hear movement and move closer, but do not always attack. Finds are brought to the surface for study. Some compartments are closed until a certain point. Depth puts pressure on the hero and changes the ending. Employees' notes and diaries lie in different compartments, and part of the truth is revealed only together. Creatures react to light and the sound of footsteps. There are enough cylinders for short trips, so the route is built along locks. Some compartments are opened only after the mechanisms have been repaired. The ending depends on the evidence found. Some of the corridors are gradually being flooded. The notes lead to the truth through the hero's dreams. Some tasks require returning to places where the hero has already been. For those players who love underwater horror and tight corridors, this game is suitable.
