UEFA Euro 2000

UEFA Euro 2000 is the official game of the European Championship, which took place in Belgium and the Netherlands. In addition to the national team tournament, there are five modes: training, friendly match, game until the golden goal, tests based on real matches and a full-fledged championship. This set allowed you to quickly play one match and go all the way to the final. The game features many national teams, including the national teams of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, so it was possible to play for your country even if it did not qualify for the tournament. A separate secret "Classics" mode unlocks iconic clubs from yesteryear and lets you test how well the legends stack up against their contemporaries. The matches are played in the spirit of their times: the pace is calmer, the dribbling is more modest, and the result consists of accurate passes and patient attacks. Commentaries, music and design convey the mood of the European forum, and the stadiums of that tournament are recognizable at first sight. It’s also worth noting that the game supports two-player play on one device, so the evening could be spent in duels for national teams. Competitions based on real matches force you to solve a specific problem in a limited time, and this is a separate type of excitement. For its year, the design and music looked very decent. Today the game looks like a museum exhibit, but it was with releases like these that the love for tournament football games began. For nostalgia for the early 2000s, this is a great option.
