Outlast (+Whistleblower) is a collection that includes the base game and an expansion that added a new storyline. The prequel reveals events that preceded the main story. The addition shows the story through the eyes of another person and adds new pursuers, explaining some of the mysteries of the original. Collections of documents and records add up to a gloomy picture of experiments. The supplemented edition also includes materials about the development and comments from the authors. The game is considered one of the most terrible in the genre precisely due to the helplessness of the player. The collection was released as a separate publication, and is often recommended for those who want to go through the entire story, including the backstory.
