My Riding Stables 2 takes the player to a ranch where riding horses live. At the beginning, you can choose a hero - a guy or a girl - and get to work: animals need food, water, cleaning after walks and health care. Routine here is not decoration: if care is neglected, horses begin to get sick and behave worse. In addition to everyday chores, there is horse riding: training, walks around the neighborhood and competitions, where not only the rider’s technique is checked, but also the condition of the horse. Each horse has its own character: one is calm and obedient, the other requires a firm hand, and this affects the choice for specific races. Money earned from competitions and orders is spent on food, equipment and stable improvements. Gradually the farm grows, and with it the volume of tasks, so the game requires planning, albeit not the most complex. It is also worth noting that all procedures are performed manually: approach the horse, take a tool, clean it, add feed. This slows down the pace, but creates the feeling of a real farm rather than a menu with buttons. For the audience for which the game is intended, such slowness is rather a plus. The weather and the time of year change activities: in the summer there are more walks, in the winter there are worries about warmth in the stable. The project is designed for children and animal lovers: there is no competitive excitement, but there is a calm rhythm and a feeling of real farming. This is a suitable option for a relaxed evening.
