GTA 4 Криминальная Россия is an unofficial modification that fills the familiar Liberty City with recognizable Russian realities: gopniks squatting at the entrances, the domestic auto industry on the roads, kiosks and objects familiar to every resident of the CIS. The plot outline remains original. As before, the story centers on Niko Belik, a Serbian emigrant who sailed to America at the call of his cousin Roman. The cousin boasted of a luxurious life in the spirit of the American dream, but in reality he was mired in debt and conflict with the Russian mafia. Niko stands up for a relative and is drawn into a series of dangerous events. The gameplay is classic for Grand Theft Auto 4: a giant open city, cars, shootouts, missions and the famous gloomy atmosphere of an immigrant drama.
