FOR HONOR

FOR HONOR is a combat game about the confrontation between knights, Vikings, samurai and warriors of the East. The focus is on duels, where it's all about reading the enemy and reacting, not a set of buttons. In addition to single battles, there are team modes: capturing points, holding zones, and fighting in arenas. Each hero has his own set of moves, and development unlocks equipment and appearance. In the network part, human opponents behave much more interestingly than a computer, but they don’t forgive mistakes either. It’s worth mentioning separately about duels: reading the enemy and timely reactions mean more than memorized combinations. In addition to battles, there are team modes, where the result depends on the coherence of the group. Developing heroes unlocks equipment and appearance, and each character has their own set of moves. Human opponents behave more interestingly than computers, but they don’t forgive mistakes either. The design is harsh, the music matches, and the long-term support for the project has added modes and events, prolonging interest in it for years. The training is given in short tasks, so you have to understand the stances and techniques in practice. Each hero requires some getting used to, and there are no universal techniques against people. Techniques are learned through short tasks, not in theory. You have to adapt to each fighter: there are no universal techniques against people. In addition to battles, there are training battles where you can calmly practice techniques and not lose progress. Community events change the balance from time to time, so the usual connections sometimes have to be revised. The game lives on for a long time due to updates and community. For those who love sword fighting and don’t mind learning, the project is suitable.
