You have to act quietly: a direct confrontation ends quickly and not in favor of the hero. At your disposal are smoke bombs, ropes, traps and amber, from which everything you need is made, as well as the ability to create a double at a distance - it distracts the guards and opens inaccessible passages. The double does not last long and falls apart if it is noticed, so it is better to use it from a distance. The levels are arranged three-dimensionally: pipes, beams, cornices and hatches lead up and down, so the path to the goal is almost always not in a straight line. Patrols follow their own routes, notice abandoned bodies and respond to noise, so you have to constantly clean up after yourself. Skills are developed using the amber found, and some tasks give access to new tricks such as hidden movement. You can go through the entire campaign together, and then the second goblin does the same thing, but from his side of the street. The world is divided into areas: a port with smuggling, embassy quarters with security, and underground workshops where amber is smelted. Between missions there are episodes in which you can sleep, listen to gossip and spend your earnings. Different endings depend on how carefully the goblin dealt with influential people.
