Yakuza 0

Yakuza 0 takes you back to 1988 and shows how those who later became known throughout the city got their start. Two heroes - Kiryu Kazuma and Goro Majima - follow their own lines, which gradually intersect. In addition to the plot battles on the streets, there are a lot of side activities: billiards, golf, karaoke, discos, business and club management. Fights are fought using several styles, between which you have to switch depending on the situation. The city blocks are small, but densely packed with life, and random encounters sometimes turn into separate stories. The game alternates between a serious tone and ridiculous humor, and this combination keeps your attention until the end. It’s worth mentioning separately about side activities: billiards, golf, karaoke, bowling and club management take up as much time as the main line. In addition to fights, there are investigations and meetings with characters, each of whom has their own interests. Two heroes go through different stories, and lines intersect as the plot progresses, and some episodes are opened only for one of them. Fights are fought in several styles, and switching between them is a separate skill. The setting of the city is dense, and the tone of the story varies from serious to downright ridiculous. Side stories are sometimes more serious than the main story, and are worth staying longer in the city for. Conversations in the city often turn into fights, and the choice of answer determines how the meeting ends. In addition to the main tasks, there is training in the gym, where new techniques are discovered, and this noticeably changes the fighting style. Some of the episodes are related to business: managing a club or agency takes time, but brings money and new acquaintances. For those who like stories about people and don't mind fighting in the street, the Yakuza 0 is suitable.
