The Tropico 3 brings you hot climates, rumba, and a beach with sand so white it resembles snow. The feathers of palm trees, the indecently blue sky - all this comes under control along with the huge island and the people living on it. Having fun in the sun is allowed, but you will also have to bring benefits to your wards. The decrees are changing life on the island. Income comes from plantations and factories. A ruler has many responsibilities, and decisions can be difficult. The one who started a riot can be locked up in prison, but the matter cannot be brought to the point where everyone has to be locked up: tourists bring good profits, and someone has to serve them. Hence the choice - to be a gentle and wise ruler or a real dictator, between capitalism and socialism. Political factions require attention. Tourism fills the coffers during the season. A player can be overthrown at any time, so five indicators of population satisfaction have to be monitored: food, accommodation, religion, leisure and medical care. Buildings depend on electricity and roads. Events throw challenges at the ruler. Gameplay is divided into two types: campaign and sandbox. In free mode, you can influence the parameters to create your own paradise - from choosing a randomly generated island or one from the campaign, the period of government, the stability of politics and the frequency of events, ending with the god mode, in which you can ignore almost everything that happens. Transport connects remote areas. The army maintains order on the island. This game is suitable for anyone who wants to rule the island.
