Majesty 2: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim continues the famous series of real-time strategy games. The game was created on the improved GEM engine, version 3, which provided new shading technologies and physics close to reality. The player takes on the role of the supreme ruler of the kingdom of Ardania. The vassals are subordinate: loyal, but willing to dispose of the lands at their own discretion. Guilds require gold for their services. They do all the work of managing the property, and the player manages the process and influences his subordinates with money motivation. The conflict of interest between the king and the vassals creates situations for sixteen missions and becomes the main mechanic of the city's development. The heroes themselves choose what to take on. Ardania has plenty of enemies, and they are always ready to besiege the castles they control. You have to hire an army of valiant warriors, smart wizards, wild barbarians and seven more classes. Correctly selected combinations give an army without weak points, but only if used correctly in defense. Walls and towers protect the city from sieges. The multiplayer mode brings together four players who build kingdoms to seize control of the entire land and destroy the rest. The balance of units was fine-tuned specifically for network battles. Due to the resources invested online, the second part of the franchise lost randomly generated maps and free play outside the storyline.
