Each room of the house is connected to the others, and some of the mechanisms start only in a certain order. Some of the mechanisms open only after parts are found in other rooms of the house. You have to explore the house manually: mechanisms, drawers, hidden panels and lenses. Each room is a separate puzzle where you need to understand how the parts are connected to each other. At first the house seems simple, but as it is assembled it becomes clear how well everything has been thought out. The family's history is revealed through records and letters scattered throughout the mansion. The series is known for its attention to detail, and it shows here: textures, reflections and lighting have been reworked, and shadows have become more accurate. The atmosphere is dark and haunting, in the spirit of stories about old secrets. In addition to the puzzles, there are moments where you just have to watch how the next secret is revealed. Hints are given gradually, and some of them are almost invisible at first glance. The story is tragic, and you have to figure it out from the records and objects found. Sound and light work here along with the picture, creating the necessary tension. Light in the game is used as a tool: a lens or lamp reveals hidden drawings. For those who like puzzles with atmosphere and are not in a hurry to go room by room.
