Sonic Generations Collection

Sonic Generations Collection is a collection of adventures about the famous hedgehog, where there are two versions of it - classic and modern. Both play through levels collected from different eras of the series, and each level is made anew. The classic hero jumps and curls up into a ball, while the modern one runs at speed and hits squares. The levels alternate, so the style of play is constantly changing. Between stages there are short races and bonus challenges. Collecting red rings unlocks a collection of music and sketches. Tasks can be replayed to improve time and results. The abilities of both versions of the hero differ, and the passage of the level depends on them. On bosses you have to alternate between striking and waiting, because the elephant does not forgive haste. The levels are selected from the map, and the order is somewhat free. Collected medals unlock sketches and music from previous installments. Additionally, time trials are available. The levels are collected from different parts of the series, and this is noticeable in the scenery. Red rings and medals are counted separately. Some races open after completing the story. The game is designed for a leisurely return to familiar places. Additional tasks require you to repeat the level purely. Bonus levels are unlocked by collecting rings, not by completing the story. Some races require you to complete a stage without taking damage. Music from different parts of the series is collected in a separate section. Additionally, a mini-game with a casino is available. Some levels are repeated with different conditions, and this gives a new experience. Races are divided by series era. The collection is replenished with medals. The mini-game opens after certain progress. Collections of this kind are convenient because they allow you to go through familiar places without the old controls. For those who remember the old parts about the hedgehog, this edition is suitable.
