Red Colony Uncensored - Maria loses her daughter in a world that is falling apart: a failed DNA experiment on the colonists has turned people into monsters, and now the streets belong to them. The mother goes into the thick of it to find her child, and is not going to spare those who get in the way. The action comes from a third-person perspective, and enemies can be dealt with with impressive brutality: severed limbs and point-blank shots are commonplace here. Weapons are selected according to the situation, but ammo is not endless, so sometimes it’s better to avoid fights. In addition to firearms, everything that comes to hand is used, and it is better to spend ammunition wisely. The heroine has three outfits available, each with its own characteristics, and the story is told through cutscenes in the spirit of a visual novel. The authors placed the main emphasis on the plot: intrigue, secrets and the origin of the virus are revealed as the game progresses. Each fight is presented firmly, but without unnecessary pause, and this keeps the pace. The mystery of the virus is revealed gradually, and some of the answers come in notes. There are many explicit scenes and scenes of violence in the project, so it is intended only for adults. The world looks dark, but the visual part is made in anime style. The heroine regularly meets other survivors, and some of them join the search. The daughter is not immediately found, and the path to her leads through places where life used to be in full swing: schools, hospitals and residential blocks of the colony. The game is short and revolves around plot twists, so it’s not worth retelling in detail. For those who love post-apocalypse with zombies and are not afraid of hard scenes.
