Snow Daze: The Music of Winter Special Edition

Snow Daze: The Music of Winter Special Edition is a visual novel in which the story is set to music. The winter setting and sound are not a background here, but part of the narrative. The player gets to know the characters, chooses their lines, and gradually determines where the relationship will go. The material is addressed to an adult audience, as stated directly. The design is hand-drawn, the scenes are static, but there is enough text and options to re-read individual chapters again. The special edition includes additional material, and saves are frequent, so returning to forks is convenient. The duration is such that the story can be stretched over several evenings. It’s worth mentioning separately about the musical component: some of the material is presented as songs and performances, and this distinguishes the publication from typical short stories. In addition to the main line, there are additional episodes that open after completion. The story is intended for adult readers, and this is stated right away. The design is hand-drawn, saves are frequent, and the gallery collects open ones, which is convenient when there are several forks. The length is such that it is convenient to read the story in the evenings, rather than go through it in one go, and this is more of an advantage than a disadvantage. The musical accompaniment changes along with the heroine's mood, and this works more powerfully than any scenes on the screen. In addition to the main story, there are musical inserts, and they are marked separately for those who want to listen again. Some scenes open only after certain lines, so it’s worth checking the forks. For those looking for a relaxing read with a musical delivery, the Snow Daze is perfect.
