The Mating Season

The Mating Season - April O'Neil reports in New York and befriends green creatures living in the tunnels under the city. One day she comes to visit them and finds her friends in a strange state. The scenes are presented with static illustrations, and the text comes from April's perspective, which adds irony to the story. The illustrations and text are presented in a light style, and this softens the awkwardness of the scenes. Further events develop around their behavior: the turtles' season begins, and they are not averse to seducing their friend. April tries not to offend her old friends and maintain her own dignity. In addition to the main line, the dialogues contain references to stories about turtles and their opponents. This is a short visual novel: dialogue, illustrations and choice of lines or actions. The decisions determine how the visit will end and how quickly the heroine will be able to get out of the lair. In addition to jokes, the dialogues contain descriptions of the life of an underground shelter, and this makes the atmosphere more comfortable. The story is short and takes less than an evening to read if you read it without interruptions. The humor here is on the verge of vulgarity, and the scenes are explicit, so the project is intended for adults. The whole thing can be read in one evening, but fans of the series will have enough reasons to smile. There are several endings, and they differ in how the heroine managed to get out of an awkward situation. Some lines can be played in different ways, and this changes the tone of the entire scene. For those who love parody novels for adults based on a familiar universe and do not expect serious drama from them.
