Sid Meier's Civilization 5 is a strategy where civilization goes from ancient times to modern times. Each game consists of dozens of decisions, and by the middle the map looks completely different than at the beginning. Spies spy on rivals, steal technology and interfere with the preparation of weapons. Difficulty settings change the aggressiveness of the AI, so you can play calmly or at the limit. Expansions added trade routes, espionage, ideologies and a world congress, and modifications allow you to remake almost everything. The step-by-step rhythm gives you time to think, but it’s still difficult to stop. Modifications have added new civilizations and scenarios, and saves allow you to experiment with development. For those who like to build an empire and watch it flourish, this part is better suited than many.
