Serious Sam 3: BFE is a first-person shooter with endless hordes of enemies and crude humor. The story begins in the middle of the twenty-first century, when humanity finds in Egypt the remains of an alien civilization that flew from Sirius. Found materials are replacing almost all of the earth's resources, so science and engineering are accelerating. Sam steps in long before he was sent back in time and battles Tah-Um, an ancient deity of the cosmos. The enemy spares neither people nor cities. The arsenal is recognizable: a shotgun, a minigun, a rocket launcher and a chainsaw work loudly and generously. There is enough ammunition, but there is almost no respite - the crowd is rushing in from all sides. Some of the maps are huge, and you have to run to retreat across them. Opponents come in waves, and it is almost impossible to stop for a minute. The chainsaw and minigun solve the crowd, but each takes up a hand. Secrets are hidden behind inconspicuous walls and in narrow passages. The cooperative is designed for a large number of participants, so the noise is only growing. Enemies such as scorpions and headless bombers require different weapons. Jumping to the sides saves you from grenades and rockets. The levels are in large areas, where there is nowhere to hide. Some episodes are based on ancient ruins and desert fortresses. Some weapons are hidden in caches and are not given out according to the plot. The difficulty increases in large open areas. Saves happen frequently, so you don’t have to go through it again. Anyone who likes noisy shootouts with crowds of enemies will find the game suitable.
