Human: Fall Flat

Human: Fall Flat is a puzzle game with deliberately clunky controls, where the hero Bob wakes up every time inside a dream and looks for a way out. The levels look harmless, but require patience: the body obeys reluctantly, the hands grab the wrong thing, and the stairs collapse from awkward movements. The controls are deliberately made unresponsive, and this is not a bug, but the basis of all humor: the character clings to anything and falls from any height. It is this fuss that makes up the main pleasure: dragging a box, pulling yourself up on a rope, building a bridge from boards, and then dropping everything and starting again. Problems allow for several solutions, and sometimes the most ridiculous method turns out to be the most effective. There are many secrets: hidden rooms, additional costumes and alternative exits from levels. The locations change each other: a castle, an ancient temple, a factory, winter mountains and space, and each has its own mechanisms. Hidden items and costumes reward the curious, and collections unlock new characters. The music and design are pleasing to the eye: bright colors, simple shapes and soft light make dreams look like children's drawings. Eight-person co-op turns the experience into a circus: friends pull each other by the hand, push each other off cliffs, and accidentally solve puzzles that seemed difficult alone. Custom levels and modifications extend the life of the project endlessly. You can complete the levels alone, but with a group it’s faster and much funnier. For anyone who likes to laugh at their own mistakes, this romp will lift your spirits better than any comedy.
