Grand Theft Auto 5 is an open-world action adventure that has won dozens of awards for its scale and freedom. The action takes place in the fictional state of San Andreas, familiar from previous parts of the series. You have to play as three heroes at once, between whom you can switch. Switching between heroes occurs at any time if there is no task nearby. Michael left crime, but misses his old life, Franklin is looking for a way out of petty affairs, and Trevor lives by his own rules. Their paths cross, and gradually the robberies turn into large operations with planning and distribution of roles. The robberies are planned: you can choose the perpetrators and the method of penetration. Some operations end in a chase, and some end in a quiet escape. The city lives its own life: streets, shops, traffic jams and random incidents create the feeling of a real metropolis. In addition to the main line, there are side activities, investments and a whole network of part-time jobs. Multiplayer is a separate mode with its own tasks. Vehicles, weapons and appearance are purchased with money earned. The police respond to noise, so big cases are best prepared in advance. Updates added new modes, vehicles and ways to earn money, and the game itself was released on several generations of consoles. Side stories introduce you to the city and add random encounters. For those who love big crime stories, this state is perfect. The update for new consoles added first-person mode and graphical improvements.
