Flatout 3: Chaos and Destruction

Flatout 3: Chaos and Destruction is an arcade racing game that takes the idea of ​​destruction to the extreme. Rivals ram each other, cars fly into pieces, and on the tracks there are objects that can be demolished along the way. Races take place in cities, deserts, highways and indoor arenas, and dirt flies in all directions. In addition to regular racing, there are stunt modes, where the car accelerates in front of a springboard and the driver is thrown out of the cabin - you need to manage to hit the target or fly as far as possible. It is these tasks that have become the hallmark of the series, and here they are done on a grand scale: entire stadiums for dodgeball, bowling and flying. The game has more than nine dozen tracks and about fifty cars that can be improved. Multiplayer is designed for several people on one screen, and such races are especially fun in a group: crashing into a friend is allowed and even expected. It is also worth noting that the cars in the game differ in weight and behavior, and damage affects handling: a broken suspension will force you to drive more carefully. Additional tracks and arenas are unlocked as you progress, keeping events from repeating the same scenario. This is enough for an arcade. The game received mixed reviews and is not considered a masterpiece of physics, but as a noisy evening attraction it works: the amount of on-screen action makes up for any shortcomings.
