The Assassins Creed Brotherhood continues the story of Ezio Auditore. The action moves to Rome, where the city is ruled by the Borgia family. Ezio is looking for the truth about the family's past, and Cesare's people stand in the way. Rome is divided into regions, and the liberation of each requires preparation. The campaign begins with the siege of Monteriggioni and gradually takes the hero to the capital, where the fate of the family is decided. The hero restores the brotherhood of assassins and opens shelters throughout the area. Recruits can be trained and sent on missions, and their successes generate income. Training recruits takes time, but they help in street skirmishes. Shops and workshops return income after the area is vacated. Recruits train in the barracks, and their experience grows from assignments such as guarding or eliminating witnesses. Rome is divided into districts occupied by the enemy, and each liberated district returns shops and workshops. In addition to stealth, there are horse races, ships and mercenary missions. Liberated areas open up access to new tasks and shops. Synchronized kills help remove guards without making a fuss. The quarters are held by enemy captains, and it is better to remove each of them with knowledge of the situation. The network part adds modes with hunting and camouflage of participants. Collectibles are scattered throughout the map. Multiplayer is divided into modes where participants hide in the crowd. Horse racing and arena fighting became separate challenges. Online modes divide participants into hunters and prey, and camouflage decides the outcome of the fight. For those who love intrigue and Renaissance history, this brotherhood is suitable. The additions have expanded the range of missions for online play. Mercenary missions bring money and good equipment. Later expansions added assignments for assassins and rare equipment.
