Empire Earth is a historical real-time strategy game with many of its own mechanics. One of them is a morality system that determines how units will behave in battle. The main focus is on heroes: they are created in urban centers, and they are divided into two types. Strategists demoralize the enemy army, and Warriors raise the spirit of their own and allied armies. The mechanics of Age of Empires are taken as the basis, and civilizations provide various improvements and bonuses. The events span about five hundred thousand years of world history and fourteen eras: from prehistoric times of two million years BC to the Age of Nanotechnology of the twenty-first century. The list of heroes includes Gilgamesh, Alexander the Great, William the Conqueror, Elizabeth I and Erwin Rommel. The strategy includes three editors: civilization, campaign and scenario. With such tools you can put together your own full-fledged game. Six Wonders of the World are allowed to be built: the Ziggurat, the Colosseum, the Lighthouse of Alexandria, the Temple of Zeus, the Ishtar Gate and the Great Library. Each building brings its own reinforcement - for example, it itself inhabits units or strengthens city walls. Additional wonders include the Eiffel Tower, the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace and the Time Machine. The story campaign includes four scenarios: Hellas, England, Germany and Russia. Each one involves many famous personalities - Theseus, Hercules, Shakespeare, Manfred von Richthofen, Sergei Molotov and other generals and cultural figures.
