Each survivor is useful in some way, and the loss of even one person affects the overall economy. Some of the tasks are related to random events on the road, and the fate of people depends on the solution. Part of the plot is revealed through letters and notes found at the sites of the skirmishes. Travel between locations happens through random events: a caravan, an ambush, saving a stranger. The decisions made determine which people will be able to be attracted to the camp. Some events lead to conflicts in the camp, and it is also the commander’s job to extinguish them. The camp expands between chapters, which is great to see firsthand. Some of the wounded can only be cured in the camp, so forays are planned in advance.
