The Walking Dead: Season One

The Walking Dead: Season One is a six-episode interactive story with point-and-click elements and reaction scenes. It tells the story of Lee Everett, who was transported in a police car at the beginning of the zombie apocalypse. The story revolves around Lee and Clementine's relationship, with conversational decisions influencing how the group treats each other. Some will stay by your side until the end, some will leave. Due to an attack by the dead on the transport, the prisoner is freed and almost immediately meets an eight-year-old girl, Clementine, who is left completely alone. From this point on, Lee takes care of her throughout the story. Many problems are solved with words rather than with shots, but at a critical moment the hero has to act quickly. Time limit scenes add tension to the episodes. In addition to new characters, the story features characters from the printed comic, including Glenn, Shawn and Hershel. Conversations and decisions affect relationships within the group, and the timing of decisions is limited by a timer. Individual chapters are dedicated to other survivors, and their fates depend on the player's decisions. The episodes aired as scheduled and ended with discussions about the finales. Action scenes are resolved through quick taps, but the main episodes rely on dialogue and choice. The publication includes all the episodes of the season and additional materials, and the sequels expanded the story of Clementine. Later, a remaster version and sequels with a new heroine were released, but the first season remains the entry point. For those who like stories with consequences, this season is perfect.
