BioShock Remastered

BioShock Remastered is a re-release of the famous shooter, which takes place in an underwater city. The hero gets there after a plane crash and gradually finds out what happened to the local residents. The improved version brought modern resolutions, redesigned textures and lighting, as well as minor interface tweaks. The combat unit is built on a combination of weapons and abilities obtained from a special substance. Plasmids change the approach: some set fire, others freeze, and others help control opponents. The world is structured as a series of connected halls and passages, and nearly every area tells its own story through entries and settings. There are plenty of enemies, including heavy defenders who simply cannot be penetrated. There are hacking puzzles and vending machines. Improvements can be distributed in different ways: some rely on weapons, others on abilities, others on hacking and riddles. Equipment requires resources, and some of the machines sell supplies and first aid kits. Enemies differ in behavior: some stay away, others rush into battle, and others repair turrets. The entries and setting reveal the history of the city in much more detail than the dialogue. Some rooms can be passed quietly if you use hacking and distractions. Upgrades for weapons are sold in vending machines, and the money for them is not immediately available. The plot is revealed through recordings and voices that come across along the way. The difficulty is adjustable, so battles can be made calmer or tougher. The atmosphere remains the same and that's the main reason to come back. For those players who missed this story or want to revisit it in the best possible way, this edition is suitable.
