Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne

Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne - addition to the original game Warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos. Story campaigns tell about the transformation of Arthas into the Lich King, the adventures of Illidan and the difficulties of the blood elves. The campaigns are sequential, and between missions there are scenes that explain the motives of the heroes. The stories of different races intersect, and the overall picture emerges towards the end. Each campaign consists of missions where you have to fight and build a base, collect resources and develop troops. Individual missions rely on heroes and their abilities rather than large armies. There are neutral creatures and merchants on the map that you can lure to your side. Some buildings are captured by force, some are bought for gold. For the multiplayer part, the addition became key: new races, units and heroes appeared, as well as mercenaries and neutral buildings. It was this version that determined the balance of online matches for a long time. Heroes grow in levels and receive items, and some abilities change the battle completely. Sometimes one successfully upgraded hero decides the outcome of a mission. The game later gained recognition as a platform for custom maps, from which separate genres grew. Updates maintained compatibility and corrected balance. Custom maps still exist, and some of them have turned into independent genres. Many players return for online matches with friends. For those players who remember classic campaigns, this release is suitable. The network part collects players even after many years, and patches corrected the balance. Classic cards have long been sorted into tactics, but interest in them has not faded.
