War Thunder

War Thunder is a multiplayer game about military equipment, where aviation, armored vehicles and navy converge in one battle. The parties are represented by different countries, and each car has its own characteristics. The battles take place in real time, and the role on the field depends on the choice of equipment: in some places speed is important, in others armor, and in others the ability to work at a distance is important. There is constant development: new machines and improvements are being discovered, which requires time and experience. There are different modes including historical battles and simulation conditions. The community is active, and updates add new vehicles and maps. The interface is detailed, and the complexity increases gradually. The battles take place on the ground, in the air and on the water, and the equipment differs not only in characteristics, but also in its role on the field. Before departure, equipment is selected: a set of missiles and belts determines which targets can be hit and which ones are best avoided. Research opens up new machines, and the path to them takes time, but the progress is noticeable. The mode with realistic conditions requires taking into account the behavior of the equipment in more detail. Different nations have their own sets of weapons, which changes tactics on the battlefield. Some vehicles are unlocked as research progresses, so the first battles take place on modest vehicles. The supply of equipment is limited, and reloading at a point takes time, and this forces you to think about your position. Joint battles are based on the interaction of military branches, so you won’t be able to achieve much alone. For anyone who is interested in military equipment and doesn't mind long progress, the War Thunder gives a huge choice.
