The loot needs to be sold, which means you have to look for connections and not overpay for the risk. A separate part of the game is preparation: observing the residents’ routine, searching for a schedule, determining the best entry point. Haste is punished here: if you show up, consider it a failure. It is also worth noting that the hero has a skill tree: some improvements make hacking easier, others make working with electronics, and others help not leave traces. The game world lives according to a schedule: residents leave and return, and neighbors can call the police if they notice a stranger. It is more useful to prepare for a task than to act ahead, and this is confirmed here in almost every outing. There is also a to-do list where you mark what has been completed - useful if you return to the game after a break. The project is deliberately not about morality, but about mechanics: it is a simulator with honest hacking logic and a gradual increase in skill.
