The Jackbox Party Pack 3

The Jackbox Party Pack 3 is a set of mini-games designed for a noisy group, where phones replace gamepads. One player starts the game on the big screen, the rest connect from their devices and enter answers directly from their mobile phones, so there is no need to sit at the console. There are five entertainments in the set, and each tests its own: in some places you have to come up with funny answers to a survey, in others you have to guess what the others have come up with from what was proposed, in others you have to recognize lies in stories. There is also a task for designing T-shirts: the design is drawn directly on the phone, and then the whole company votes for the best one. The formats are short, so you can try everything in an evening. Victory does not depend on the reaction, but on the ability to joke and understand which of your friends is easier to deceive. There is also a mode for broadcasting: viewers can influence the vote, which turns a house party into a small show. It’s also worth noting that the set has a switchable filter for family games: a few jokes become softer, and then you can invite the children to the table. Broadcasts are also supported: viewers can connect to the room, influencing the voting and submitting their own options. The number of participants is limited by the room's capacity, but for a home party this is more than enough. The game requires no preparation or experience: the rules are explained on the go, and the score is calculated automatically. For large companies, where it is difficult to gather everyone behind one screen, this format turned out to be very convenient - and that is why the series has lasted for years.
