Сталкер Зов Припяти takes place in the Exclusion Zone around Chernobyl. After the explosion of the fourth power unit, radioactive particles spread far beyond the region. The zone is divided between groups: stalkers, bandits and military men live by their own rules. Emissions force people to hide in shelters. The plot begins with an investigation into the causes of the crash of military helicopters, and the hero gradually reveals the situation. The zone lives by its own rules: anomalies, mutants and groups divide the territory. The plot leads through three large areas, and the order of visits is free. Side quests introduce you to the fates of other stalkers. Freedom of action is considered the main advantage: the map is open, and the player chooses the order of tasks himself. Artifacts provide useful properties, but for them you have to go into dangerous places. Artifacts are sold, and the money goes towards equipment and repairs. Equipment wears out, and repairs are not available everywhere. Night emissions force people to seek shelter. For those who love rough travel through the Zone, this road is suitable. Mods change the balance significantly, and the community releases large builds. Some assemblies add new quests and locations.
