You can travel between cities on foot or on horseback, and the road itself becomes an adventure. Equipment requires maintenance, and weapons and armor can be repaired or replaced by craftsmen. Savings are limited, so overnight stays and supplies carry weight. The fight remained demanding: fencing is based on stances, feints and fatigue, and a crowd of opponents is capable of defeating even an experienced fighter. Weapons and armor wear out, so the blacksmith and whetstone are as important as the sword. Stealth and eloquence are as important as combat: negotiation and persuasion open up other paths. In addition to battles, there are a lot of activities: alchemy, blacksmithing, dice, theft and conversations with a variety of people. Local quests love intricate stories, where it is not strength that decides, but observation. Side quests reveal the life of different layers of society, including peasants, soldiers and nobles. The additions expanded the map and added tasks. The blacksmith takes orders, and the alchemist teaches how to brew potions, if the player is willing to spend hours on it.
