Space Engineers

Space Engineers is dedicated to space construction: stations, ships, bases and entire flotillas are assembled from blocks right in outer space. Asteroids and neighboring planets fly around, where ore is mined for new projects. It all starts with one block and the desire to build something that did not exist before: welded frames, engines, cockpits and docking units are taken from the menu, and the assembled structure is sent into flight. You can control a person, a ship, a station and a camera from first or third person, switching between modes on the go. The creative mode gives out unlimited resources, and survival requires mining, processing and repairing everything with your own hands. Solar panels, reactors and batteries form the power grid, while conveyors and loaders help process ore on site. Physics honestly calculates mass and collisions: an unsuccessful docking ends in dents, and a lost piece of the body flies into the void. Fuel, energy and oxygen become separate tasks, turning even a short flight into an engineering operation. A special part of the fun is co-op: friends build a common base, distributing roles between miner, pilot and designer. The Steam Workshop and mods add parts, weapons, and entire worlds, so community projects have long outgrown the base set. Some scenarios force you to save the crew or build a base in a short time, and creative tournaments bring together engineers from all over the world.
