Silent Hunter 3

Silent Hunter 3 continues the famous series of simulators of German submarines from the Second World War. Changes are visible at almost every step. First of all, the game uses a modern three-dimensional engine that realistically generates the environment: sea waves, light reflection, weather changes, rain and fog. Torpedo tubes reload with a delay. Attacking convoys brings glory to the commander. Models of real submarines and aircraft have been carefully transferred to the game world: both the appearance of the vehicles and their internal structure have been worked out. A full three-dimensional projection of the boat compartments of that time allows you to control the command room, radio operator's corner, sonar, anti-aircraft and ship guns. Depth charges force you to change your diving depth. Returning to base requires saving fuel. The player takes over each device or trusts his subordinates. The crew is another major change for the series. Each team member has his own model and skills, based on which it is decided who gets to work on the diesel engines and who gets to man the side gun, torpedo tube or sonar. The radio operator picks up signals from enemy convoys. After successful missions, the crew gains experience and becomes more efficient. The commander can react to the situation immediately: delegate people to the torpedo room to quickly load the devices or send a group to seal the hull after an attack with depth charges. Fuel and torpedoes are limited on board. This game is suitable for anyone who loves submarine warfare.
