Rising Front

Rising Front is about the First World War. The player fights in large-scale battles, using an authentic arsenal of the era, and completes command tasks. The battles are made believable: opponents take cover in trenches and have a moral system. Firefights are affected by terrain - lowlands, hills and cover. Machine guns mow down infantry in no man's land. Tanks are crawling behind the barrage of fire. The trenches are connected by communication passages. There are three parties: Britain, France and Germany. Each has its own arsenal, its own tasks and its own situation on the battlefield. You have to get used to the strategy of the chosen nation again, if previously the game was for the other side. Hundreds of types of equipment, units and aircraft take part in the battles. Barbed wire slows down the attack. Officers give orders using a whistle. Artillery hits the squares. Observers monitor the field from airplanes. Participants face artillery fire, mortar attacks and explosive traps. Much depends on the type of battle: while defending the area, you can personally place obstacles for your opponent. The craters serve as shelter from bullets. Night attacks take place under the light of rockets. The wounded are carried out on stretchers. During an attack, you have to look for other people's traps, bypass them or disarm them. The arsenal includes Lee-Enfield, M1917, Mauser 1897 and other weapons that were in the hands of soldiers of that time. Gases force us to wear masks. The reserves approach the front line along the trenches. Sappers cut wire at night. Anyone interested in the wars of the last century will find this game suitable.
