Resident Evil 4 Remake

Resident Evil 4 Remake is a full update of the cult fourth part, which has long been considered one of the best in the series. After comments about the remake of the third game, the developers did not stray far from their roots and continued the course chosen for the second part. The beginning of the game is noticeably darker than before: the village greets you with fog, rituals and residents who behave in a completely inhuman way. The story remains the same: Leon Kennedy comes to the village in search of the kidnapped daughter of the president and meets people there who have long ceased to be people. Some scenes and routes have been rearranged, but familiar episodes are immediately recognizable. Purchasing and improving equipment occurs through conversations with a merchant who knows how to turn any item into a useful one. Shooting has become more accurate: aiming, stopping in place and hand-to-hand techniques form a tight rhythm, and the knife can now be damaged and replaced with a new one. Upgrading weapons, a suitcase and a merchant with a mysterious voice have not gone away. Special enemies like cultists and giants require their own approaches, and bosses often return in new forms. Opponents climb in droves and behave smarter than previous versions, which is why the supply of ammunition has to be used with caution. The Ada Wong expansion added a separate campaign, and the mercenary modes brought back time trials and scores. The Separate Ways add-on shows events through Ada's eyes and changes the view of individual scenes in the main story. For anyone who enjoys intense shootouts with horror in the background, this version offers the best way to follow a familiar path.
