PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS is a third-person shooter where dozens of players participate in a match. The battle royale format means that only one must survive. Cars and motorcycles help you get to the safe zone earlier. Gathering equipment goes quickly while everything around is quiet. Landing in different places on the map changes the first minutes. The landing takes place from an airplane, and then everything is decided by the route and luck. The island is full of houses, cities and towers, where weapons, armor and medicine are scattered. Each barrel needs its own cartridges and attachments. First aid kits and bandages allow you to survive a firefight. Armor of different levels protects differently. Patrols and ambushes near bridges slow down enemies. The zone narrows gradually, forcing opponents closer together. Equipment can be upgraded on the spot: sights, silencers and linings change the behavior of the barrel. Smoke and grenades help when retreating. A tripwire or mine can ruin your entry into the house. Traveling in open areas is dangerous. Victory depends on both shooting and patience: noise attracts other troops, and vehicles give away their position. The updates brought new maps, modes and vehicles. Squads are divided into units of four. Match statistics show damage and accuracy. The matches end quickly for many, and they have to start again. Large cities provide more loot, but also more risk. Anyone who is willing to start over every half hour will find this battle suitable. Season passes provided rewards for completed tasks. The maps were gradually reworked, changing cover. Competitive seasons added new tasks.
