Muse Dash

Muse Dash is a dynamic rhythm game in anime style: colorful locations, fiery compositions and enemies sent into outer space to the beat of the melody. Levels are based on reactions, not on reading notes. Each track is designed as a small stage with its own characters and obstacles, and long shots emphasize the dynamics. The story centers on three heroines with different personalities, and the techniques available depend on the choice. The player runs forward, fighting off enemies and dodging obstacles, and hitting the rhythm doubles the score. The accuracy of hits affects the final rating, so the same track has to find its own rhythm. The controls are simple: jump and hit, but combinations at speed take some getting used to. Songs vary by genre, and selections are updated along with seasonal events. Collections unlock new heroines and their costumes, and some songs are included in paid sets. A mode with several difficulty levels allows you to play both for fun and for the sake of records. Costumes, characters and additional songs are unlocked, and leaderboards encourage you to repeat your favorite songs on maximum difficulty. The game has been released on various platforms and supports portable consoles. Crossover events brought tracks from other games, and there were enough difficulty modes for both newcomers and veterans of the genre. The practice mode helps you break down difficult areas, and the score tables give you a reason to return to your favorite songs. This rhythm is suitable for anyone who loves music and wants to warm up to it.
