Hellish Quart

Hellish Quart is a dueling fighting game with melee weapons, where the battles are based on honest physics, and the fencing technique is taken from the motion capture of real masters. The setting is the 17th century: sabers, rapiers, broadswords and other blades are in your hands, and you can fight in a story campaign, single battles, arcade and multiplayer. The movements of the fighters are scanned and transferred to a three-dimensional world without embellishment: rag figures fight until the first blood, an accurate hit or a fatal blow, and each attack is calculated in real time. Links are assembled from movements through key combinations: single strikes, lunges, deceptive swings. The outcome of a fight is decided by timing and distance, not by memorizing long combos.
