GTR 3

The GTR 3 is part of a racing series designed for serious motorsport fans. This is not an arcade game: the car requires careful work with the gas and brake, and mistakes at the entrance to the turn end in flying into the gravel and losing five seconds, which cannot be regained in the remaining lap. It is exactingness that is considered the main advantage here. The car fleet in the game is large, and each car feels different: sports cars and touring cars have different balance, different traction and different behavior on worn tires. The weather and time of day change the grip, so you have to take into account not only your actions, but also the condition of the track. Additionally, mechanics have been added to the game that expand the process: suspension and aerodynamic settings, seasonal championships and different competition classes. The graphics have improved noticeably compared to the previous parts, which made the races very spectacular for their time. Separately, it’s worth mentioning about the settings: you can change not only the suspension and gear ratios, but also the tire pressure, which is why the car behaves differently. Tire wear during the race forces you to change tactics and look for a compromise between speed and preservation of the wheels. For serious sim racers, this is the real game. In addition to single races, there are championships and online competitions, where stability and the ability to keep pace over a long distance are valued. For those who love simulators seriously, the GTR 3 means long workouts, analyzing laps and searching for tenths. The game does not forgive laziness, but in return it gives the feeling of real racing work.
