Gord - the Dawn tribe goes to the forbidden lands, because it is no longer possible to remain in the same place. The player leads this campaign and is responsible for both survival and who his people will become. Large monsters come in waves, and against them both a garrison and a supply of provisions for the besieged are needed. The settlement is built in parts: a palisade, warehouses, workshops and housing. At the same time, you have to monitor the food, health and mood of the inhabitants, each of whom has their own character and history, and sometimes a tendency to madness. People get tired, get sick and suffer from hunger, and all this takes up supplies that are always in short supply. Concern for the mental state of residents is easy to put off, but it is precisely this that leads to troubles such as flight or riot. The weather and time of day set the rhythm: at night those who are not visible during the day come from the thicket. The world is inspired by Slavic folklore: goblins, mermaids and other creatures from fairy tales emerge from the thicket, and with them come troubles more serious than monsters. Some events are generated randomly, so there are not enough prepared solutions. Along the journey, there are fragments of the chronicle that form the history of the world with the ancient gods and the Whisperers. Some tasks are given on the map and require sending people outside - sometimes with no guarantee that they will return. The chronicle is pieced together, and each discovery explains why the lands became forbidden and the trees whispered. Some story missions require you to decide what to sacrifice for the future of the tribe, and there is no right answer. For those who want a strategy about the survival of the people, where both walls and other people's destinies are important.
