FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S: HELP WANTED is a collection of mini-games based on the famous series, adapted for virtual reality helmets, although you can play without a headset. Each mini-game recreates a situation familiar from the originals, but now the player is inside it. The tasks are different: in some places you need to repair mechanisms, in others you need to reboot systems, in others you need to monitor cameras and not let the animatronic come near you. In a helmet, the effect of presence is stronger: the sounds of footsteps behind you and the creaking of doors are much more frightening than on the screen. In addition to the challenges, there is an overall framework: a small plot connecting the episodes, and the gradual discovery of new levels. The difficulty can be adjusted, which is important for VR - sharp frightening moments are experienced differently. It is also worth noting that the collection contains tasks for servicing mechanisms, where you need to quickly perform a sequence of actions, as well as episodes in ventilation where you cannot make noise. Different mini-games provide different experiences: some are scarier, some are more intense. There is also a mode without VR, although the effect is noticeably stronger in a helmet, and this should be taken into account in advance. To play with a helmet, it is desirable to have free space around, and it is better not to scare anyone nearby - the level of irritation of neighbors is predictable. Separately, it is worth noting that the sets of levels differ in mood: there are almost comedic episodes and there are downright gloomy ones. The project is designed for fans of the series and those who like to be scared. It's technically solid and has enough levels to keep you busy for a few tense evenings - especially if played in the dark.
