Destroy All Humans! is an action movie where the player controls an alien who collects material for his masters. The action takes place in America in the fifties, and local residents react to the stranger with panic. The hero can read minds, lift objects and inhabit people, and this opens up unexpected solutions. Weapons range from beams to grenades to ridiculous gadgets. Cities and military bases serve as arenas, and the destruction remains in place. Assignments are presented in short scenes. Quests are divided into story and side quests, and some are related to farms and military camps. Rewards go towards improving rays and shields. Some levels require a quiet approach because the soldiers are armed. Cities are gradually being destroyed, and residents are fleeing. Additionally, you can search for collectibles. Patrols and the military respond to the invasion, so some cities have to be cleared. The tasks are related to farms, warehouses and bases. Improvements relate to beams and a shield, and some of the devices change people's behavior. Residents run away from one sight of an alien. The design imitates films of the time. It’s also worth mentioning the scale: the stronger the alien, the more cities react to it. Some of the tasks are related to secret objects, and for them they give upgrades for weapons. Records of other people's thoughts form funny monologues. Separately, I’ll say about the collections: skins for the ship and strange objects that are not needed for the plot are hidden in the cities. Some tasks are completed in any order. The jokes here are deliberately rude, and this is noticeable from the first minutes. For those who like to play as an alien, this part is suitable.
