Call of Duty: WW2 returns the series to the events of World War II, to which the developers decided to return after a long break. The campaign is complemented by modern graphics, mechanics of the latest parts and voice acting from a professional studio. The department lives like one family: each fighter has his own character and his own responsibilities. The wounded have to be dragged to cover, and first aid kits and ammunition are quickly consumed in battle. The plot is told from the perspective of Private Ronald Daniels, who, together with the soldiers of the 1st Infantry Division, goes from the landing in Normandy to the battles in Europe. Relations within the department play no less a role than shootouts. The campaign is divided into chapters, and each one begins with an episode explaining where the fighters are and what they are facing. Some of the tasks are based on defense in bottlenecks. Missions alternate between open assaults, covert operations and defense, and equipment is selected as the battle progresses.
