Two Worlds Epic Edition is an open world RPG where the hero finds himself in a land that is rising after the war with the orcs. Much has long been forgotten, and old secrets are making themselves felt again. The world can be explored on foot or on horseback, and monsters can be found both in the wilderness and on the roads. Magic is divided into schools, and spells are collected as cards. Weapons and armor are assembled from parts, and this is noticeable in the appearance of the hero. The Enhanced Edition includes the Cursed City expansion and additional items. The cities are connected by roads, and between them there are camps and ruins. Armor can be combined from parts, and the characteristics depend on this. Horseback riding saves you from attacks, but not from ambushes. Magic works through cards collected in a deck. Dungeon diving provides better loot than open combat. The add-on adds an island with a cursed city and new enemies. Side quests are issued by city and guild. A horse can be bought or recaptured from the enemy, and with it the fighting style changes. Dungeons and caves provide good loot, but require torches. The armor is assembled from parts found in different places. Opponents are divided by race, and each has its own tactics. Leveling up is based on skill points. Guilds issue tasks and along with them reputation. Some of the caves are connected to each other by passages. The weather changes the behavior of monsters. Cities provide tasks and protection. Some skills require a mentor. The battles are based on quick weapon changes. Anyone who loves old open-world RPGs will find this edition perfect.
