Description

Train Sim World 3 is a train driving simulator with detailed graphics, allowing you to go from a novice driver to an experienced driver. The game features real routes and types of rolling stock. Mechanics require attention to detail: timing, signals, brakes and maneuvers. An error in calculation results in a delay or derailment. In addition to trips, there are modes with tasks and tutorials that explain the basic principles. Add-ons add new routes and locomotives. The design and sound work on the atmosphere: the cabin is detailed, and the views outside the window change along the route. The pace is calm and requires perseverance. The routes vary in nature: in some places they are long hauls, and in others they are dense city traffic with frequent stops. Shunting work and training mode allow you to get comfortable before going on line. Snow and rain change the grip, so you need to be more careful with the brakes, and a delay on the stretch affects the score for the trip. The controls are customizable, and some procedures can be simplified if you want to focus on the route. Additional routes expand the already considerable amount of work. Some of the tasks are related to the schedule, so a delay on the route is more expensive than extra care. Signals and speed limits are taken into account, and their violation does not go unnoticed. A calm pace and attentiveness are more important than reaction here, so the game is suitable for several sessions of an hour. For anyone who likes railroads and leisurely simulation games, the Train Sim World 3 is perfect.
