Description

Total War: WARHAMMER 2 is a turn-based strategy game that immerses you in the dark campaign of the New World. The battles bring together six races on the battlefield, and each fights in its own way. The campaign is built around the struggle for the New World, where the interests of different races and ancient forces collide. The campaign is marked by attention to detail: the structure of the provinces, rituals and ceremonies of the races are described in detail. The campaign is divided into two parts: turn-based management of provinces and real-time tactical battles. Units, heroes and magic determine the outcome, and the composition of the army is tailored to the enemy. Siege weapons, flying creatures and magic change the usual battle patterns, and heroes support the army with abilities. Diplomacy depends on race and status: an alliance with some closes the way to others. Races differ in both units and economic structure: some rely on slavery, others on rituals and sacrifices, and others on underground passages. Diplomacy and alliances allow you to survive the first turns, and betrayal happens just as often. Some units are divided into heroes and ordinary fighters, and the loss of generals puts the army out of action for a long time. The expansions added new factions, campaigns, and modes, and with them, reasons to start over. Modifications have expanded the map and rules, which the community enjoys. Online campaigns allow you to play with friends, and the difficulty is customizable to suit your party style. Some factions are only available to owners of add-ons, but the base map allows for long games even without them. For those who love large-scale battles and fantasy politics, this piece will give you the long haul.
