GreedFall 2: The Dying World

GreedFall 2: The Dying World is a role-playing game that develops the ideas of the first part and offers a more complex adventure. Events take place three years before the previous story. Diplomacy and conversations are no less important than battles, because there is no army behind the hero. The player takes on the role of a native of Tir Fradi, a land full of danger and corruption. Survival and the fight for the freedom of the homeland become the main task. Mercenaries gather into a squad, and their skills develop as the story progresses. The plot reveals the background to familiar events, but is presented as an independent story. The ruthless conqueror moves forward with his army, and the hero must rely on skills, allies and cunning. Diplomacy is no less important here than combat, and decisions affect relations with factions. Reputation with factions affects access to quests and trade. The hero's classes determine a set of skills, and development comes through practice. Tasks are sometimes resolved without a fight: negotiations and bribery also work. The world of the old continent of Gakan is open for exploration, and the locations and characters are different from the previous part. The game is released in early access and is being developed together with the community. The world of the old continent is different from the previous part: cities, villages and dangerous swamps. Some of the decisions affect who will be next in the final. For anyone who enjoys story-based RPGs, this land is perfect. Updates add tasks and adjust the balance together with the community. Reviews note the scale of the world and attention to detail.
