Description
The Entropy Centre - A research center employee wakes up in an empty complex and discovers that time around her is behaving strangely. The only assistant is a talking device called ASTRA, and together with it you have to get out of the collapsing building. The complex changes as you progress: somewhere the walls fall in, and the corridors rebuild themselves.
The puzzles are based on time rollback: the device's beam rewinds the object back - the box returns to the top shelf, the path is restored, the bridge rises. All this only works on certain objects, so first you have to understand which parts of the environment can be rewinded. The puzzles gradually become more complicated: first you need to rewind one box, then you need to build a chain of several objects so that the path is restored in the correct order. Errors are corrected instantly, so there is nothing to be angry about: a failed attempt takes a matter of seconds. Between the halls one comes across recordings, device jokes and short stories from the lives of employees.
From the first person, the heroine runs, jumps and overcomes obstacles, and between the halls there are platform areas where you need to have time to move before the structure falls apart. Closer to the end, new options for using the device appear.
The plot is revealed through the notes of the employees: from them it becomes clear what the center was doing and why everything collapsed. The ending explains what happened, and at the same time reverses the meaning of what was seen earlier. The device comments on what is happening, jokes and sometimes gives hints, but does not interfere with thinking independently. Individual episodes end with large-scale scenes where the complex begins to collapse in real time.
For anyone who loves first-person puzzles with unusual use of time.
