The Chant - a resort island turns into a trap: instead of relaxing, a group of people find themselves in a place where ancient forces do not tolerate strangers. In the center of events is a girl who has to rescue everyone who is still alive. Opponents don't like light, so it's better to stay away in the dark. The weather on the island is foggy and visibility is often poor. The game is played from a third person, and the hero’s state is divided into three scales: health, spirit and mind. The skill is restored by meditation, the mind is restored by breathing exercises, and balance has to be monitored. The menu has difficulty settings for battles and puzzles. Sometimes you have to choose who to save first, and the second one is left behind forever. The danger does not come from creatures alone: ​​the heroine harms herself with fear and inner doubts. Neglecting meditation will not work, since an upset psyche makes any fight a failure. In addition to monsters, traps left by the cult pose a danger. Meditation is available at any time, but does not instantly restore strength. In addition to combat, there is exploration: huts, caves and ruins contain notes and objects that form a picture of what is happening here. Resources are limited, so you should spend them wisely. Some of the tasks are related to the personal stories of people stuck on the island. Many requests are related to the search for missing people and the solution to local rituals. In addition to horror, the project has plenty of quiet scenes where the characters talk about their own things.
