Techtonica

Techtonica is a construction and factory management simulator. Among similar projects, it stands out in two ways: all actions are performed in the first person, and the plant itself is located underground. Unlike most sandboxes, there is an end goal and end-game content. Resources are mined, objects are built and moved, conveyor belts are stretched, production is automated, and improved tools are crafted to go even deeper. Conveyors stretch between the floors of the mine. It all starts small, but as you progress the scale grows. Game systems and tasks become larger step by step. Some machines are found directly at locations, which allows you to gain access to specific technologies earlier. Most often they are hidden in secret places. Machines speed up the assembly of parts. Technology opens up new machines. The setting is science fiction and the action takes place on Calix, a planet in a system without a star. The main character is an astronaut and is forced to build an underground base due to the cold on the surface. At the same time, the hero is not the first to visit this place: as he progresses, he finds traces of the presence of other people and finds out what happened to them. Glowing mushrooms illuminate the tunnels. Plot development and exploration of the world with bioluminescent flora are also available in the company. In addition to the single player, the title contains cooperative multiplayer, designed for a maximum of four people. For those players who love automation underground, this game is suitable.
